Your data

Uploads are encrypted in transit. We never sell your data or use it for advertising. It is shared only with the providers that run the service (hosting, payments and AI document extraction) under contract. Anonymous uploads are deleted after 24 hours, and signed-in users can delete files at any time.

Do I need to create an account to try it?

No. You can upload one PDF invoice and preview the extracted data without signing up. A free account gives you one full download, with no credit card required.

How accurate is the VAT extraction?

Accuracy depends on the quality and layout of the invoice. We extract net amount, VAT rate, VAT amount, and gross total. You can review and correct all fields before downloading — and a failed extraction never counts against your quota.

Which accounting software can I import the output into?

Our Excel (.xlsx) and CSV exports are formatted for direct import into Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, FreeAgent, and any spreadsheet. JSON output is available for developers integrating with custom workflows or APIs.

What file formats and sizes are supported?

We accept PDF and Excel files. Each PDF can be up to 10 MB. Password-protected or corrupted PDFs cannot be processed — those conversions are not charged.

Does it handle multi-page invoices?

Yes. LedgerSense processes multi-page PDFs and consolidates line items, page subtotals, and grand totals into a single structured output.

Is my invoice data secure and GDPR compliant?

Yes. All uploads are encrypted in transit via HTTPS. We never sell your data or use it for advertising, and it is only shared with the service providers that run LedgerSense (hosting, payments and AI document extraction) under contract. Anonymous uploads are automatically deleted after 24 hours. Logged-in users can delete any file instantly from their dashboard.

What happens if the extraction is wrong?

You can review and edit every field in the results panel before downloading. If an extraction fails entirely (e.g. a corrupted or scanned-only PDF), the conversion is not charged to your quota. Contact support for help with unusual invoice formats.
